Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join our team for a project with a leading financial services client in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in backend development, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions using Go (Golang).

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable and resilient backend services supporting high-performance transaction systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using Golang.
• Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.
• Implement API integrations and ensure efficient data flow across services.
• Optimize backend services for latency, throughput, and reliability.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed environments.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to security and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of total software development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Golang (Go) development.
• Strong experience with microservices architecture and REST/gRPC APIs.
• Excellent understanding of concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning in Go.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure (AWS preferred).
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka / RabbitMQ.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
